My novel first glimpse

Ok so i really want to finish this novel and post it one day so i hope you like it if so please upvote to show support and comment if you find anything that needs fixing

              Lost in a galxy

Chapter one: We were just going off the omega in the exvasular 2 to the new expected habitable planet tendet 4.1 then my family Moira, Joel, Ellie, john, my wife Emily, and me Atticus started to ponder what will we find and what will it do. We were just getting out of the galaxy hervois and then out if nowhere we all felt a bad smash and I checked the status of the ship and I yelled “ Hey all the engines were out do you have confirmation on what hit us” moira replied “ No who would have caused this” then this is when it all started. We started to approach a planet we didnt know which one it was it was strange but looked of mars but it had water! The ship started reaching high speed while falling into the planet atmosphere at speeds of three thousand miles per hour and then with a loud crash we landed and embedded our ship into the ground destroying everything in the ship. We all were bruised but I had broken ribs and Joel broke his arm we had ellie try an patch him up but it was to badly damaged “damn, this is probably going to lead to cutting my arm off.” Said joel. Ellie sighed “yes” I was shocked but even more curious about what crashed into us. Me emily, and john went to go explore but left all the security systems on to protect ellie and joel. The gravity was so severe we could barely walk this was crazy i thought we might be the first to find alien life and even better a planet habitable for humans! But then i remembered what is the consequence going to be to find aliens or will we all just die here alone and lost in a galaxy.

Chapter two: we started to go to the highest point we could see so we could see around our area. As we got there an avalanche hit after Emily nearly fell but it started after i caught her from falling to her demise . A rock hit my helmet and i fell near the end of the avalanche “ Oh no” i said while turning to look at the others john just gasped and Emily started to cry. I was there thinking this is how my life ends on a planet and left alone, well at least its with my family. I started to hug my family and said “go, find a way to leave and.” Stop said john “your air should all ready be depleted right” as i realized just then my suit was out of air but i was just to into the moment thinking i was going to dye. “Thank God” i said as the others followed i took of my helmet and took a deep breath as a sigh of relief. Ok lets finish climbing as we were climbing i thought whats supplying the oxygen here? When we reached the top we saw trees and water only half of the planet was rock and those tree’s saved my life supplying oxygen! We went back to the ship and joel was asleep as a side effect of medicine and he did have to get his arm cut off. “Lets get some rest and explore in the morning.” I said after telling ellie about what we saw. Joel still had to stay recuperating from blood-loss We also fixed some off the security including turrets so joel was protected. We started to go out in the ravengar (a four wheeler) to explore. Ellie saw a something falling that looked like some sort of mediorite so we decided to go towards it hoping for some minerals as we got closer we realized it wasn’t a mediorite but a ship of some sort! I pulled out my gun just for safety after seeing that something was moving.
