Mother's day art project - Crayon art
Hi everyone!
Today @super-em and I decided to try "Crayon Art" for the first time.
I've seen this style of art on youtube before so I thought why not give it a try it looks fun.
So here we are....
First, we used this liquid frisket to cover the area where we wanted to leave free from crayon.
@super-em decided to have hearts.
However, I have to say this failed sadly...
We couldn't peel it later because the build up of crayon was too thick.
Here is @super-em glueing crayons at the top coner of canvas.
This is when the mess begin...
Get ready for splash of crayon!
OMG...I didn't think it would be this much of mess using hair dryer to melt the crayon and let it run down on the canvas.
At this point, we realized that we could not peel off the liquid frisket.
So @super-em worked hard to cover all the hearts with melted crayons.
Well, it would have been better if we didn't have these hearts to cover and let the crayon run down freely but it still looks very cool think.

I have never heard of this and it really is cool looking. That is a lot of crayons. A perfect way to remember this year's Mother's Day! : )
Yes that was a lot of crayons. We used 2 boxes of 64 crayons except the black, brown and white ones.
