Evolution of my art style

in #art7 years ago (edited)

One I received a drawing tablet for Christmas a few years ago I started drawing right away. The following images are a collection of drawing put together. Although I worked on singular drawings, if I just wanted to doodle I would add to the results of the doodles to the following sketch pages.

Sketch Page I:
My style was very rough to begin with and at this point I was just trying to figure out how to use the thing.

Sketch Page II:
After using the drawing tablet for a while I began to start using smoother lines.

Sketch Page III:
Before this point I would work on a drawing and then later add it into the sketch page document however, from this point forward when I wanted to just sketch I'd do it in a defined document. This resulted in a much tighter final image. This is also when I begin to develop my own art style (Including lots of additional lines).

Sketch Page IV:
This is when the pages become much more colorful. This page involves more unique shapes than what I was using before.

Sketch Page V:
This page is the most compact one I have done so far. Although this doesn't fully represent my art style as much as my singular images do, it still gives a good impression.

That is all the sketch pages I have completed so far and I am very happy with the amount of progress I have made. Anyone that likes what they see can have a look at my DeviantArt for more of my art! :)
