The calla lily - - Traditional Watercolor | sequence of its elaboration. 🎨
The calla lily, which is this spectacular plant with these wonderful flowers that we have here portrayed in a watercolor.
This flower is associated with Catholic ceremonies and marriage, although it is also used to say goodbye to a loved one.
The origin of this plant is located in South Africa, it grows naturally in the fields and especially in the gutters in those areas where water usually accumulates.
The leaves of the plant are fleshy, so low climates are not appropriate for this plant.
Calla Lily flowers actually have a single petal, and a spadix protrudes from the center.
I have had the opportunity to look at it in different colors, among which I remember orange, purple, pink, yellow, green, nuanced and white like paint.
Below I show you a photographic sequence of its preparation.
