Dear Artist @thermoplastic ! This post has been upvoted from FineArtNow account ! See you soon !

Very good drawing and the essay is very informative and interesting. It is always useful to get a glimpse into an artist's mindset, and gain some insight about his work. Reading details about your fascination to Bogomil, I was linked to some facts about the boundaries of Macedonia which is a very hot topic currently here, in Greece. It is interesting how an article from 1983 connects to current issues in 2018!

thanks - my interests are all over the place, but I am particularly fascinated by mythology and religion. I came to the Bogomils via readings about Gnosticism. I had taken a few related classes at University on those subjects - and also on witchcraft - which everyone thought was a mickey mouse course and had to do with spells - and after the first test, most dropped out because of the required readings and broad background knowledge required in religious studies, anthropology and sociology, as well as history.

Amazing art, talented artist..

Very lovely work, @thermoplastic! Love all the 'double up' effect on some of the elements * __ * the double-up eyes on the big face is specially enchanting <3

upvotes and resteems

thank you very much!

Beautiful details

Hey @thermoplastic! This really is an abstract piece, the fine details really are quite peculiar!

A piece that really does shatter the concept of dimension and perspective!
