It’s been a while but I promise you I have been busy. My son is now 2 years old and such a handful. Daughter is now in grade 1. Time is flying and I am feeling I am losing time like sand from my hands. I try to hold tight but the more I hold the quicker I lose and all that’s left are some beautiful memories we are making each day.

I have started small projects after being made redundant. I am now refurbishing furniture. It’s a chalk paint world baby. Not so redundant after all huh! I think it’s been one of the most exciting projects and back breaking but somehow I have enjoyed every bit of creating this. I found this piece for $30.00 AUD and sold it within hours for $420.00. The blue was a very bold choice and I was very apprehensive about using it but in the end it turned out great. I made my own chalk paint using night blue taubmas paint. Sealed it polyurethane. Such a therapeutic piece to work on.
