Original Art Photography Series by @velimir #168 'The Wall'

The name of this art photograph is: 'The Wall'

We are able to imagine things that appear to be more real than the ones that are real. Unreal can sometimes also grant us a far more pleasure than the reality around us. Is this a mistake, an error of human judgement? Might be, but I'll not go into this. There is a whole library of philosophy books dealing with matters of what is real and what's not. We all see the obvious outcomes, so let's talk about them to make things less vague. We all know that there are people who change their ordinary lives for living as an entity in imaginary worlds of online games and that there are people giving away life for drug produced visions and sensations, even though they are aware of dreadful effects of drugs on their mind and bodies. The list easily goes on with another line for every vice there is. Human minds are so easily deceived by imaginary pleasures.

I portrayed a blue, cold surrounding and a wall looking way more attractive than the rest. What I had in mind with this photo was to point out that we are all aware of a fact that a wall is a wall and no shining warm lights can exist in there, but that wall's surface is attracting us anyway. We cannot stop looking at it, and trying to figure out what is there and why is it so. I love the play of warm and cold colours and their interaction with the shadows. The atmosphere of a cold evening for everything outside the wall against an imaginative warm, maybe even romantic lights on the wall.

If you turn your attention to the shadows, you'll realize that they are the only thing separating the cold surrounding from the attractive warmth of the wall's surface. The shadows represent a thin line, one's got to keep walking on if one is to enjoy the vision, and not be completely drawn into believing in the existence of an unreal pleasure. What you believe is real, is what actually - is real. There is no other reality, apart from the one you believe in. But, that is a whole another story... :D

What we know for sure is: whatever you believe to be real has the power to take you to the sun or drown you in deep waters, and that every moth is attracted by the flames.

Enjoy! :)

Hi @velimir, this is my first encounter of your series and I was drawn to comment to it and I wish to try to decipher the imagination of this art of yours. I agree with you that there are lots of surreal things surrounding us that continuously deceiving our mind which some of us fail to understand the truth behind it. Some people like to enjoy the fake pleasures that are only temporary which is a waste of their energy and resources as they wish to enjoy their moments of pleasure without worries, that’s like enjoying an art on the wall and it is a dead end after all... my two cents. On my first glance, your art look kind of dreamy. I can imagine myself being in my dream with this shadowy lighting and cold environments. That bushes shadow and the light pole reflections gives it a perfect touch to this wall art. Finally, it ends with that looks on the grainy wall and on the far end up the blue sky completes the art finishes. All in the earth warm tone.

That wall looks very solid to the eye, and yet you can clearly see the bushes behind that walls, in a hazy, abstract way. that's the most alluring aspect of the photo for me.
another thing to notice is how at the upper left corner, behind the main wall - you can see a blue wall, a part of some building probably that in contradiction to the main wall is completely solid and unyielding to the warm lights.
You meet a person, there are those you might like and you might hate, and then there are those you just won't remember, they didn't make any impact on you.
there is something that makes you remember some people for a long time, yet you cannot define it - it is their "personality", an elusive concept that melts when you try to describe and define it in words, and it's not your fault - a person's personality is not something that can be defined in definitive details, it's the whole of the things combined and some more - and this "more" just can't be described by words. think about it - if I will tell you to describe a person you love and write all of what you said on a paper, would you say that after reading this definitions you wrote I know the person? of course not!
this Is just like the walls - there is a wall you can see and describe yet there are blurred objects in the background you can see that make it so attractive yet you can't really define what this objects are, just like the "more" in people you remember.
And then there are those you don't remember, they are dull and irrelevant for you, you don't find anything undefined and mysterious about them, just like the forgotten dark wall at the upper left.

So express yourself fully people! be someone others will remember!

Thanks velimir! that's a lovely photo :)

Wonderful photography. ....@steemitgirl11

Thank you for sharing @velimir. This post left the question of who is a good man, and who is a bad man on my mind. If someone is good to us, we tend to call that person a good person, and if someone is bad we tend to call the person a bad man. But however the children of this man will refer to him as good. So is there actually a Goodman and a bad man

what i found interesting in this photo is the darkness and lightness.
it has a dark area in it and bright area also.
we can relate it to our life because our life also has 2 aspect .
1 is happiness and other is sadness.
and with them our life is incomplete .
up voting you for this wonderful picture bro.

I agree, now many people do not want to live their lives. They change consciousnesses by drugs, alcohol - they are not accustomed to be oneself. They like to waste time in computer games. This is not good.
Beautiful picture, you have focused attention on the wall, making it a warm color. I would like to express how you can imagine this ...
It is a wall as a vital goal, which everyone has. And in this photo you highlighted it with a warm color - since our goals are something that warms us with hope and then to what we should strive ... Thank you, I liked it

nice colors, thanx for sharing

Another awesome piece. Something I love about your work is that it doesn't really have a concrete meaning but rather relies on the perceptions and imagination of the viewer to complete the experience. Just like Andy Warhol and other wonderful artists you can take something others might see as mundane like a soup can can turn it into a complex and fascinating work of art.

I don't know how you keep coming up with these new creative photos but keep it up :)

Every photo we take is an interesting thing for us, but not for some other people who do not understand it, because it means broad and wide, only certain people can understand it,.
this is my opinion,
