'Reflected Worlds'
Once I heard a story about the existence of our world. The guy said that it is only a reflection of another. And that one is a reflection of another and so on seven times back. I didn't pay much attention to that, even though it does sound interesting. In time, it got lost in an ocean of other thoughts. After I read a scientific theory according to which our world consists of at least ten dimensions, I remembered this. These two theories seemingly have nothing in common but let's see... As we know, we are aware of the three spatial dimensions. Next one, the fourth dimension would be the time, the fifth a
"world slightly different from our own that would give us a means of measuring the similarity and differences between our world and other possible ones",
the sixth,
"a plane of possible worlds, where we could compare and position all the possible universes that start with the same initial conditions as this one."
And so on... Please continue reading here if you'd like to know more.
Be it as may, all of these are unproven speculations based on theory. Trying to explain the unexplainable becomes a nice mental exercise. I would like to know the answers to everything, just as you would, too, but I am not sure this will happen while we still walk these grounds. Still, I have high hopes. :D
If something is a reflection then it must be a little bit degraded from the original, right? So the original must be more perfect? This is what this photograph is about.
There are two more important things. There are no people in the photo and the cut is not central, giving the left side strong spatial dominance, neutralized by the sharpness of the right side. The people would give the whole thing a different meaning, that's why I was waiting for the place to be fully clear.
It is one exposure photo, without any compositing in postproduction. The left side is obviously a reflection of the right one. It is similar but slightly different. Guess that's the fifth dimension being portrayed there. The autumn setting works with the theme, adding a thoughtful and reflective feeling. The colours are simple, moderate and quite balanced. If you stare at it for some time, your own thoughts will arise. :)
Enjoy! :)

amazing! good job
Amazing photo! :D
I love this one, but I still can't imagine how it came out that way. Does the shop have glass corner windows like an aquarium?
I just Love this whole Mind-Blowingness of your Blog/Photo!
To explain the unexplainable, is something really "unfathomable", might be the right word for it?.
Be more Open minded, so you see more of the truth or something that leads to it.
-What if, the 'simulation hypothesis' "Matrix theory" is the real deal, then you would think, what would change if it is? Would it be positive, negative, what would change?
To be Open minded, is not the same as to believe in everything, it's more like that certain percentage that is over 0% and most likely under 100%
So that means, for me the multiverse theory you mentioned above with that, really nice Picture of your's is at something like under 10% for me, there is a lot to learn and i think for one that learns about Quantum-mechanics(not me, but it's very interesting) and similar, its i guess at 20% or 30%
I just hope it's not a bad thing to suddenly write too much...
if it is sorry, but i just love the science of the extraordinary. There are lot's of Stuff one like me can read on Quora. Now thats enough writing, already! Dang!
Nice pic... I like it....
I would have never guessed the meaning of this photo if I hadn't read your words! All those theories and speculations are always very interesting to me, because it raises a lot of questions and thoughts if the reality we live in is actually real. What if there's a bunch of realities? What if there are better, more beautiful realities? I would love to get all those questions answered someday, but as for today, we can only speculate and come up with theories about it...
You surely understood! :)
Thank you for your comment!
That's an interesting notion - having many world's, and that each of them is a paper reflection of the previous one. It's actually is pretty consistent with the Jewish mystery doctrine, the "Kabalah" (I guess you will find similarities in any major religion) - according to them - there are 7 worlds and each one is lower than the other, but it's a long story :)
I really like the picture and the philosophical analysis, and I would like to add the dimension of depth to yours - when we look at the picture, we are focused firstly on the lower part of the photo, glimpsing a grey/reddish hue, then our eye slides along the road farther onto the deeper part of the photo, then we see yellow leafs, covering some unclear green substance, then we notice the green totally exposed, and finally a black rectangle and a little white.
This really makes me feel, after reading your interpretation, the same feeling - we advance from a grey, somewhat boring and undistinct color, to yellow, a more distinct and significant color, then to one of the base colors - green (rGb), and finally white and black - the total lack of colors and the" color" that contains them all. It's just like the dimensions/ worlds theory- you have a gradual advancement, until you get to a stage that is so high that it contains them all, yet- so high that we can't just understand anything of it, not even seeing what we don't understand- a white, yet black, world.
I myself don't notice the progression but your comment made me think of the white triangle and black rectangle. These do carry meaning, especially because of their placement. How comes this slipped my keen eye? :D
Thank you!
It's somewhat crude, but it's what I can do with my snipping tool right now:
You are welcome dear friend :)
I like your way of thinking!
I am full of the same thought the recent years, but some books helped to calm my interest)
The idea with the photo is very deep, and I like such a game of imagination. It's a great example and a deep illustration of your theory.
But do oyu think a man should think much about other worlds? Maybe we should think about this one and make it be like we want?
Yes, we should think about this on while it lasts! ;)
I'm curious to the nature of the Absolute original... I very much agree that we are all reflections of the Truth, but the Truth seems very harsh at times, the reality of life on planet earth at least. But maybe, as you indicate, it's a dimension, and maybe this is a pleasure and pain experience center, so that we can get back to appreciating simply being.
I Dream of being without judgement, without desires and without fear. The closest I reach to this realm is when i create art, maybe we as artists have one foot in A different dimension?
Either way, good going with your works and blog! Your reach on this platform is phenomenal, do you have any tips for this young colleague
This is one of my pieces, I would love your feedback on it...
I really love the colours of your piece. Very subtle, almost hypnotic. Great work!
Thank you, I appreciate you taking the time to answer me, especially with such encouraging words. 🙏🏽
I really like what you did there.. I'm a bit of an artist myself. Of course, I believe that, as created beings, we were created in the image of the Creator (breathed His spirit into) and the image of God's largest living creation, Earth (formed man from the dust in the ground and breathed into his nostrils His spirit)... When, in creation, scripture speaks "we" and let "us" create, I believe that that was the creator speaking to his first and largest living creation, the Earth. Mother Earth <3 anyway, I really enjoyed what you did with the off reflection and the thoughts on spacial dimensions. I don't believe time is a spacial dimension but I don't have imagined numbers to back up my claim :) Thanks for your ever so interesting posts!
I never said time is a spatial dimension. :D Time is the fourth dimension. There are only 3 spatial ones... lenght, width and depth :)
the theory of parallel worlds is very interesting, because it shows that our world is not as simple as many think.
I just adore such scientific theories (for example, the concept of string theory or M-theory)
The photo is delightful, and it attracts the eye precisely because - the second part is not ideally similar to the first, and as you wrote - it dominates. Looking from this point of view, this tells us that although there is a parallel universe, but it is different from ours.
The lack of people also adds a mystery to the photo
Thank you, photos with meaning - it's incomparable :)
