Original Art Photography Series by @velimir #269 'Floland'
'Floland'
A weird title for a weird photograph. It feels like it takes place in some fantasy tale where flowers are way higher than humans. From this idea, Flowerland came to my mind, shortened: Floland. :D I created an imagined land of strongly saturated purple background, while the various greens are presented in lines pointing up and disappearing in the white petals. Purple and green fit well together and, thanks to the huge amount of white, create a valid colour solution. Especially in a fantasy place.
This is a perfect example of an open composition, where elements continue to exist outside of the frame. Notice how important are the purple areas created by the "holes" in the foreground. The curved lines so nicely define the purple "islands". It, together with the green curved lines, creates a special feeling of tenderness.
The perfection of the piece is challenged only by a small green element just right of the centre and an even smaller one close to it. I deliberately didn't remove them. They catch attention and gently ground the image in a sort of acceptable reality. Wherever the observer looks, the eyes will always land on these two them in the end.
Enjoy! :)

Some times we really neglect small things which are present around us but the creative mind can observe it. Although this work looks simple but the idea behind it is interesting.
Amazing
Such plants are similar to those in "Alice in Wonderland". (by the way, even there is a mental illness with the same name). In fact, all that we can imagine and is real. For example, take characters and the world from the cult books. Those books that eventually became unmusical took on a new life. On motives of books films and serials were shot. Even did video games. This can be called success and, to some extent, the life of the "fictional" world. So I think that everything that we can imagine is real.
Judging from the point of view of science - then the whole world around us is in our head. Why is that? This is because the visual information from the eyes and the auditory from the ears, as well as the olfactory from the nose - connect to the general picture of the surrounding world in a particular part of the brain. That is, the whole world is directly in the skull. Therefore, under certain circumstances, our brain can play with us in a cruel joke. Maybe it sounds crazy, but it is.
The photo looks interesting. Flowers from this angle look like majestic trees. Common violet background - creates a mysterious atmosphere. It, combined with the thought of huge colors, takes our imagination to another world. I like to reflect on this topic. Excellent photo as always. Thank you
The universe becomes the source of symbols or symbols that reflect other things. In other words, man does not have anything to be something real outside himself. So is the language. The language consists of signifiant and signifie, ie marker and marked. The marker has no meaning for itself. Markers can give any meaning because it means not directly attached.
Alphabet A is just a form of line that can be read at will. However, in the language system he has a meaning if dijejerkan with various other letters. Humans also often symbolize something. They symbolize for example rivers and trees as life, snakes as cunning and so on. Order is one thing that is different from objects that do not have a special meaning like that. Sometimes it causes cultures to have different meanings from each other.
Flowers also can not be separated from this symbol. Therefore, there are so-called interesting language. The language of interest is the language by using interest as its marker. In the language of flowers, flowers have another meaning to break free. In other words, flowers are qualities that can be assimilated from others.

What a great angle to capture these flowers from. It almost gives the feeling of the picture being taken by someone much smaller than the flowers themselves. I really like how the background comes through the gaps and allows the white flowers to stand out even more.
@velimir You stated: It feels like it takes place in some fantasy tale where flowers are way higher than humans.
I don't believe it's a fantasy tale ...'Flowers ARE way higher than humans!'
Flowers exist in the purest form in a myriad of varieties and color. They bring so much pleasure, beautify our surroundings, entice us with magnificent fragrance....always.
We can't say that about humans...at least not consistent.
I love Floland and the beautiful combination of colors. I imagine them being giants in your fantasy...Floland
