Original Art Photography Series by @velimir #97 'The Glass'

The name of this art photograph is: 'The Glass'

There are people who will always see the glass half-full, just as there are many others who will see it half-empty. Now you can ask yourself which of those two groups you belong to, and why? It will make you think about what is good or what can be changed for the better. I, myself, always try to see the glass half-full. It is somehow rooted in my system. It doesn't mean that I smile through the entire day and see everything in bright colours. It means that when a problem arises, I keep my head calm and look for the solution. And, believe me, there is always one hidden somewhere.

A long intro to a photograph, eh?

The slanted composition creates dynamics, which is also accentuated by the contrast. The glass is positioned at the light spot and strongly backlit. I could have put it right on the shadow and probably still get the backlit effect but that would create a different impression. The glass draws our attention, as the main element should. Do you prefer to linger on the light shapes or your mind rather dwells on the shaded parts before the attention goes straight to the glass? :)

The colours are almost non-existent, apart from the little colour elements scattered in the light shapes. The stylization is quite modest but works perfectly with the theme.

So tell me is the glass half-full for you or half-empty?

Enjoy! :)
