My gaming buddy is a cutler (knife maker), and he hand makes some pretty cool knives. Check them out:

#1 Santoku
Thai style chef knife. AEB-L stainless blade and g10 handle.

#2 Gyuto
1095 carbon steel blade (non-stainless) with hamon and stabilized box elder handle.

#3 Mini-Chef
1095 carbon steel blade (non-stainless) with hamon and stabilized box elder handle.

#4 Chef Knife
German made 80crv2 carbon steel (non-stainless) blade with Koa wood handle and turquoise inlay.
Some minor finish work still needs to be done.

#5 Mini-chef
German made 80crv2 carbon steel (non-stainless) blade. Birdseye maple handle. My personal favorite, I use a knife like this daily.

#6 Camp Knife
52100 bearing steel blade (non stainless). Acid washed and antiqued. Would make a great all around outdoor knife for skinning and light chopping.

#7 Bowie
52100 bearing steel blade (non stainless). Teak wood handle with acrylic surface. scotchbrite finish on bevels, raw finish on flats. This would also make a good general purpose outdoor knife.

#8 Puukko
German made 80crv2 carbon steel (non-stainless) blade. Black palm wood handle that has been sealed with vinyl-ester. Traditionally used for carving and skinning in Scandinavia.

Some pretty cool knives, and they are all for sale! Plus he can do custom work but there is some lag time with that. If you are interested contact him his email is:
