Penny for your thoughts or how did I get roped into this Adentures Dark and Deep Art

Dungeons and Dragons has always been about the monsters. And more monsters. And some very, well strange monsters. Right up at the top of the strangeness pile are the thought eater and the roper. Here we have two more pieces I did for Adventures Dark and Deep. The though eater is somewhat like an emaciated hairless platypus with sharp teeth. Except this critter doesn't want to eat flesh, it wants to eat your brains, or well actually thoughts.

The roper is a little more straight forward. As it's name implies, it has ropy, tentacles with which it hopes to drag its prey into its lamprey like maw. Not a pleasant way to go. At any rate, these critters sure are enough to keep any party of adventurers on their toes as they plumb the dungeon depths.
