Project Silver Drop - Not just another design

in #art7 years ago

Hello friends!

Silver Drop has the most uniquely inspired name among my projects. It is based on the fact that the hull of the vessel looks like half a drop. The reflection on the sea completes the puzzle, forming a whole drop. Through the hull and the superstructure there are minor silver details which helped me give the name "Silver Drop".

Let me be honest though, this particular project was based on a real life project "Amara" which will be built by my favorite Shipyard, Oceanco. This project really inspired me so I created something of mine which is relatively close to the original design.

In this project I would like to briefly describe the process of creating "Silver Drop".
To begin with, it took me more or less 30 hours to complete it. It is sketched on a 1 meter long paper and more than 10 different tools were used to draw the lines and to fill the windows and the radars. The toughest task of all was to place the superstructure in a way that makes the final result look balanced.

A few words about the vessel:
Measuring 125m it provides the ultimate luxurious experience. 3 swimming pools and 2 jaccuzis are found in the vessel. A helipad is placed in the bow right in front of the master's suite. Curves and arcs are found in almost every deck giving a calm and tranquil tone. Even the bow is reverted. It is not a classic nor a vertical. It is an axebow. An axebow helps with the hydrodynamics and makes the vessel more efficient.

I hope you guys like it!
