RE: Unreal

very interesting read.

The setting is during the "steam engine" trains. If you relate this to technology (at the present time) and how pre-occupied a lot of us now, I think the picture should be the other way around... Women playing with trains and Men outside.

I don't think the "Man" was necessarily playing... he could be a "train engineer" (the man on a suit) working his ass off for his family and the wife just don't get it.

Interesting perspective.

Yeah, the man may very well be hard at work in his craft, he does give the impression of a hardworking man being in suits and all. Which leads me to the first point raised that women should be inside 'playing' with trains in current times. Thank you for stating that the women of today are as hard working, if not better workers, than the men of today.

Regardless of who does what, I think the art also depicts the distance between the couple, one wanting to do one thing, and the other doing something different. Not one person particularly at fault. Maybe something better communication lines can resolve. Like had the woman communicated clearly her wants and how significant that is, like in this case maybe take a break and have a relaxing walk outdoors, maybe the man would have understood better. Maybe the man had very important, urgent things to accomplish, and would need to schedule leisurely activities at another time, had this been clearly communicated more likely the woman would easily understand as well.

Good point on the communication part.

I think the woman tried to connect with a huge rail but it wasn't compatible enough to the man's self-centered tiny rail.

They should compromise IMHO.

What are we talking about now? 🙃 * lost*

Agree. Compromise is the key.
