Benefits of Blood Donation:

By Donating blood new and fresh blood produce in a human body. Donating blood improves our overall cardiovascular health. Increased level of iron in the blood raises the chance of heart disease. Regularly donating blood helps males in particular to reduce the amount of iron in the blood.
We can reduce the blood viscosity by donation of blood in regular basis, which cause to eliminate the iron that may possibly oxidize in the blood. Blood donation can reduce the risk of heart attack.

The plasma from donation is replaced within about 24 hours and red cells need about 4 to 6 weeks for complete replacement. So, the interval between blood donation must be at least 8~12 weeks.
