For better or worse, J.R. Smith will go down in Cleveland Cavaliers history
A lot of information has come out of Cavaliers camp today. Supposedly at the beginning of the season the CABS front office came to JR. Smith and told him they were going to play younger players and there wouldn't be much playing time for him and OFFERED HIM TO STAY HOME AND NOT PARTICIPATE WITH THE TEAM AND STILL GET PAID.
JR refused stating his bond with his team mates the community and fans meant more to him than doing that. Say what you want about JR I personally have a lot of respect for him. And Im losing a ton of respect for CAVS GM Koby Altman his inexperience is showing the state of the CAVS franchise is a mess they're much worse off than the Browns right now
"Smith went from a mislabeled role player to a critical piece on a championship contending team. Smith took on the personality of the city and won the fans over with his “When in doubt, shoot” mentality."
My latest article for King James Gospel breaks down J.R. Smith's time in the city of Cleveland & how he'll go down as one of the most memorable players in franchise history.
