[CR] Gentle Trainer (Colored Version) - Art Drawing

in #artisteem6 years ago (edited)

Artwork ImageAfter I did the sketch of this drawing, which I submitted in my previous post, I just had to color it :D It wouldn't leave me alone.
So I sat down and finished this painting on one go.

I really need to improve my skills and patience when it comes to drawing/coloring backgrounds xd So this is definitely on my to-practice list.

I decided to color the horses mane white on the head and back, and going dark brown blacking on the tail xd I like how it turned out. I am really happy with my first attempt at drawing a horsey :3

Hope you guys like how it turned out! And until next time :)

The colours compliment the picture very nicely, hentikage. I like the soft colours that you used here ^_^.

First time I head about YouGotSnekked xd need to check it out

Your first attempt at drawing a horse? Wow. Great first attempt. Patience with the background is a tough think to overcome. I like to rush that area sometimes as well. Nice work :-)

Thank you so much for the nice comment, @bdmillergalley :)
Yes, unfortunatelly I need to get rid of this nasty habit of trying to rush my paintings. I am sure the result will have a way different outcome

I look forward to seeing the next one.

I am glad that you have decided to paint your drawing, I like how it looks with color! the horse is very good. ;)

Love this very much, @hentikage !

The sketch was really well done, as I have said before, but the colours really brought this picture to such a wonderful finish <3 Gorgeous work~

Aww, thank you spider :)) Yes, the colors turned out soft, because I am kinda scared of using too much contrast xd. Glad you like it <3
