Last month, Russian scientist Igor Ahusrbeyli sparked the concept of a new state located in space, the Asgardia. Since it was announced, there have been more than 270 thousand inhabitants of Earth registering to be the first citizens in Asgardia, including those living in Indonesia. From the observation of the official website of Asgardia on Wednesday (07/26/2017), there are at least 5,978 Indonesian citizens who register themselves as residents of Asgardia or Asgardian (Asgardia prospective nickname).

Furthermore, as many as 84 percent of Indonesians who enroll as Asgardians are male, and 16 percent are women. From the map on its web page, it appears that the spread of registrants in Indonesia spread in big cities, such as Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Medan, Denpasar, Yogyakarta, Bekasi, Banjarmasin, Makassar, Gorontalo, and other cities on the Island Java, Sumatra, and Kalimantan. Referring from the webpage, there are 855 people from Jakarta who enroll to become Asgardian. Followed by Bandung with 343 people, Surabaya as many as 248 people, Tangerang as many as 240 people, and Bekasi there are 231 people. Just be aware, those who are recruited to become citizens will pocket the Asgardia certificate and officially become Asgardian, but still have dual nationality status. Like the countries on Earth, Asgardia will also form a democratic government based on the law. Asgardian was later asked to contribute to vote for the basic formulation of the country's constitution. The purpose of the Asgardia is based on three main principles of the natural and technological aspects. First, Asgardia was established to ensure peaceful space life. Second, Asgardia is present to protect the Earth from the threat of aerospace objects, such as comets, solar storms, and much more.
