Anup Chetia, leader of the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) leader, said to oust Bangladeshi nationals entering 1971 after the Assam state of India. ULFA leaders returned to Guwahati after concluding a scheduled peace talks with the government in New Delhi on Monday. They were facing journalists in Guwahati on Tuesday. This morning Alfaa general secretary Anup Chetia talked with the first light on mobile phone.

Bangladesh Police arrested Anup Chetia from a house in Dhaka's Mohammadpur area on December 21, 1997. The court gave him three years, four and seven year rigorous imprisonment in three cases respectively. His sentence expired in 2004, seven years after his conviction was completed in 2004. But since then he was detained in Kashimpur Jail. On 10 November 2015, Bangladesh handed Anup Chetia to India. He was handed over to his two associates Lakshmi Prasad Goswami and Babul Sharma as well.
