Astral projection origin story

I want to write about a topic most people will find strange and not believe. But, I just want to write about my experience. I'm not asking you to believe it. So, I'll start from the beginning.

When I was about 19, I was living in England with me mum. We were living in a static caravan. They sound rubbish, but in my area they're very nice, like a little getaway holiday home.

One week, there were a few reports of break-ins at some of the caravans. This freaked me out quite a lot. I knew it would be easy to break into these caravans because of the way they're build so I felt vulnerable.
As I started falling asleep at night, I would jolt myself awake in fear. My body would be fighting for sleep but my brain was fighting to stay awake. Then, I experienced my first sleep paralysis and it was terrifying.

In this strange state of body asleep, mind awake, caught somewhere between awake and the dream world. I would open my eyes to see the room, just as it was. I was sleeping with the light on. The room was completely normal. But, at the end of my bed was a tall shadow being, like the grim reaper.

It slowly moved towards me, reached out its hands and choked me until I woke up. It was terrifying. From that point on, it would happen about up to ten times a night until I finally got to sleep exhausted. It happened every night for about a year.
I was really scared because I couldn't tell anyone, I thought maybe I was dying. I thought I might have a brain tumor or something. The internet wasn't how it is today so I didn't think about searching online about it.

So, it carried on for a year and I was terrified every night, until it started to become a bit normal. One night, as the shadow being came and stuck him hands around my neck, I didn't react. I realised I could breathe fine. It was just my fear. Then the shadow being disappeared and after possibly seeing it over a thousand times, I never to this day saw it again.
And that's when things changed. After it was gone. I had the same experience but nothing was there to frighten me anymore. I lay in bed in that state and started to get huge vibrations throughout my body. It would freak me out at the start and I'd stop it by getting up. But after awhile I let it happen until I felt my hand come out of my physical hand. The sensation was strange, I could feel four hands at the same time. Then four legs. And I would stop there, playing with the feelings. Until eventually one night, I lifted my entire body out. I could feel two bodies at the same time. I could feel myself in bed and above it.

That is just the beginning but its getting long so I'll leave it there and continue another time 😝
