Gordon Brown became Prime Minister of the UK on 27th June 2007. Here is his chart:
On the day he became Prime Minister, transitting Jupiter was at 12 Sagitarius 21 - it formed a trine to his ascendant at 15 Aries 25 and a trine to his Moon at 12 Leo 53. This was his point of maximum good luck. In addition Saturn was at 21 Leo 55, making a loose trine to his ascendant, and conjunct his Pluto.
When he lost the election on 6th May 2010, Mars was at 14 Leo 35, trining his ascendant, and conjunct his Moon, but also approaching a malefic conjunction to his Pluto.
