The General Election chart for 4th July
So, Rishi Sunak has called a general election for 4th July 2024. Here is the chart for when the polls open at 7 a.m.
The government is signified by the Ascendant at 5 Leo. The opposition is the Descendant at 5 Aquarius.
You can see straight away that Pluto, a malefic is conjunct the descendant.
The ascendant is sextile Jupiter, which is good. The ruler of the ascendant, the Sun, is in Cancer in the 12th house, a neutral placing. It has a wide conjunction to Venus.
The ruler of the descendent is Saturn in Pisces in the 9th house, also a neutral placing. It's trine Venus (which is good), but is square the Moon which represents the people (not that great).
The Moon is in Gemini in the 1th house (politics). The ruler of Gemini, Mercury, is conjunct the ascendant.
This chart is as good as it gets for the govt, so we might see some surprises at the election.
