They were square the malific planet of Pluto, the planet of transformation, which had just entered Israel's fourth house of homeland. Uranus (revolution) was conjunct Israel's Sun and opposite Israel's Chiron (wounds).

Mars, the trigger of these events, has moved on. But the rest are still in place.
