VEDIC ASTROLOGY: PLANETARY RELATIONSHIPS (PART 2)
PART1: https://steemit.com/astrology/@bitcoinbaba/vedic-astrology-planetary-relationships-part-1
Today we are going to learn Temporary and Compound planetary relationship in Vedic Astrology.
TEMPORARY RELATIONSHIP:
Temporary relationship is based on the planetary position in a chart. This type of relationship is different for every chart.
Planets in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th and 12th rashis counted from the rashi occupied by a planet are its temporary friends; Planets in other rashis are its temporary enemies.
For example, let us fine temporary friends and enemies of Mars and Sun from the given below chart:
MARS:
Mars is in 1st house and the rashi (sign) is Aries. The 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th and 12th rashis counted from Aries are Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. Planets occupying these rashis are Moon, Jupiter, Mercury, Venus and Sun. These planets are TEMPORARY FRIENDS of Mars and TEMPORARY ENEMY is Saturn.
SUN:
Sun is in cancer. The 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th and 12th rashis counted from Leo, Virgo, Libra, Aries, Taurus and Gemini. The planets in this signs are Saturn, Mars and Mercury and are TEMPORARY FRIENDS of Sun. Jupiter, Venus and Moon are TEMPORARY ENEMIES.
COMPOUND RELATIONSHIP:
When we combine Permanent and Temporary Relationship of the planets, we get Compound Relationship. It is known as PANCHADHA MAITRI in Vedic Astrology.
The formula is:
Friend + Friend = Great Friend
Friend + Neutral = Friend
Friend + Enemy = Neutral
Enemy + Neutral = Enemy
Enemy + Enemy = Great Enemy
For example, from the above chart we will find relationship of Mars and Sun.
MARS:
Mars is the natural friend of Jupiter, Sun and Moon and in temporary relationship we found Moon, Jupiter, Mercury, Venus and Sun are friends. So, Jupiter, Sun and Moon will become GREAT FRIENDS. Mercury is enemy and Venus is neutral in permanent relationship. So, Mercury will become NEUTRAL and Venus will be FRIEND.
Whereas, Saturn is neutral in permanent relationship and enemy in temporary relationship; Saturn will be ENEMY.
SUN:
Sun is the natural friend of Moon, Mars and Jupiter and in temporary relationship Saturn, Mars and Mercury are friends. So, Mars will become GREAT FRIEND. Saturn is enemy and Mercury is neutral in permanent (natural) relationship. So, Saturn will be NEUTRAL and Mercury will be FRIEND.
Whereas, Jupiter and Moon are permanent friends and enemy in temporary relationship; so these planets will become NEUTRAL and Venus will become GREAT ENEMY because Venus is enemy in both permanent and temporary relationships.
