Bitpay will launch the bitcoin-purse application for Windows Phone

Bitpay Inc. payment processor. Announced that it will supply its bitcoin-purse application for Windows Phone users, despite the fact that Windows occupies less than 1% of the smartphone market.

Given that Windows has a very small share of the smartphone market, the choice of mobile crypto-currency applications available for users of Windows smartphones has been very limited, as most developers have focused on the smartphone markets of Apple and Android.

Although Bitpay serves the Windows Phone market from 2015 as a Copay wallet, Bitpay is pleased to integrate Visa debit and other features that are not currently available through Copay to its Windows products.

"Microsoft's commitment to blocking technology and interest in smart contracts make our bitcoin-wallet platform a powerful addition to the ecosystem of Windows Phone applications," Bitpay said in a statement.

Many in the bitco-community do not share Bitpay's enthusiasm for Microsoft and their research on crypto-technologies. However, the recently announced global partnership between the public and private sectors ID2020 demonstrates the willingness of Microsoft, Accenture and Avanade to use the leveraged lever for centralization purposes.

As part of the project, it is planned to use the unique Accenture Identity Service Platform to manage sensitive data, such as fingerprints, iris recognition and biometric data, with the help of a blocker.
