Publisher's Note: Several Tesla executives have defected and are now building their own lithium-ion battery gigafactory in Europe. This is an exciting time as both Volkswagen and Volvo have announced a move away from combustion engines and toward electrification. To build that many batteries you need a lot of graphite. And there is currently only one junior miner in the world that has enough graphite to be qualified as a supplier. Gerardo Del Real interviews its CEO below.
