The Highs and Lows ,Pilot to Grounded
The "PreFlight Check"
The one question I always struggle to honestly answer is ,dude how is it that you traded the aviation world with the thrills of travelling and and the glamour surrounded with being an Airline Pilot. For an "Office Job"
The plan is to take you on a journey that that will not only , hopefully entertain you and educate you, however afford me the opportunity to really document the highs, the lows and the pressures of being the "Smart/Talented" full of potential guy.
Below is the Jabiru(As I was writing this my son woke up and I just managed to put him back to sleep 20 mins after he woke, being a dad is awesome )... The first light aircraft I used on my journey to acquiring my Commercial Pilot Licence.
My first encounter with a light aircraft was an interesting experience to say the least , the sound of the piston engine thru the reasonably priced shared headset, is one I will never forget , the rapid movement from the ground to being airborne is second to none.
Pity we had to land after one circuit , the heat and the smell of the av-gas was a tad to much for this boy from Soweto , who before any of this had never in his wildest dream thought he would see a plan yet alone fly it. I would like to hear your comments on why is it that we had to land.
This is the first edition of the " Preflight checks" , lets see how long it takes to for us to Take Off
Well Done for reading up until hear , not a lot of people have the ability to take in new info :-)
