A very controversial debate had triggered my SpaceShuttle project. For me, a flightable model was important in FlightGear, others wanted to make the claim so high that it was no longer usable. So there are now 2 models, one of mine, one can fly, and one of a team that is so far developed that only professional astronauts get off the ground at all. In this video I show 2 basic maneuvers: starting and landing, in between 5587 nautical miles, from Florida to Yakutia. Another small video shows the landing again from the perspective of the control station in the tower.

Eine sehr kontroverse Debatte hatte mein SpaceShuttle Projekt ausgelöst. Für mich war ein fluggähiges Modell in FlightGear wichtig, andere wollten den Anspruch so hoch setzen, daß es nicht mehr benutzbar ist. Also gibt es jetzt 2 Modelle, eines von mir, das kann man fliegen, und eines von einem Team das so weit entwickelt ist, dass nur Profi-Astronauten damit überhaupt von Boden wegkommen. In diesem Video zeige ich 2 grundlegende Manöver: das Starten und das Landen, dazwischen liegen 5587 nautische Meilen, von Florida nach Jakutien. Ein weiteres kleines Video zeigt die Landung nochmal aus der Perspektive der Kontrollstation im Tower.
