Interview with a Developer, a B3 story
In the ever so popular world of cryptocurrency, there will always be new coins to try to sway our attention away from the coins we all have sworn to hodl until we were filthy rich. I look for such coins on a daily basis because every once in a while you find one and I would like to tell you about my find, B3 Coin. I bought this coin after seeing the seemingly overwhelming return on this Proof of Stake coin at 27% a day. I'm a bit of a skeptic in this game because, well, you have to be but I ultimately decided that I was in on this one. The 27% staking per day for a fact is legit, but is this all that this coin will be? What happens when the huge staking rewards run out? Do we have another Ember coin scenario here? I needed answers so I joined the discord group and after a few weeks of helping where I could I was made a Senior helper.
At this point I started talking with the Moderators of the group and patiently waited for the roadmap to come out like many others. This is when I became truly all in on B3 despite the seemingly bleak drop in satoshi value. I then made it my mission to get my questions answered by the developer and this article is the result of that mission. I spoke with the developer and I asked a few questions and I will include a few that were asked on the discord channel as well as I feel they will help give a sense of direction as to where this coin is heading and what the bigger picture is. I hope this helps clear up any confusion.
What does the development team want to accomplish with this coin? There has to be much more than a PoS coin with a high reward for 20k blocks.
A) High POS is just a reward system, we mainly focused on anonymity and security with fast or instant payments.
I noticed the end of the roadmap stated that you would be working on a decentralized exchange, can you shed any light on that for us?
A)decentralized exchange is a need for future, you see bittrex froze newly created accounts no Matter how much btc they have on bittrex all get frozen, it is a type of cheating, now they are forcing people to submit their identities and verification, which is against anonymity, and anonymity is the backbone of cryptocurrency, but decentralization of exchanges is the way to do it safely and keep you anonymous.
I see, so this is similar to KMD's Barterdex technology?
A) B3 will be a little bit different than KMD's Barterdex , of course similar but not the same
There is very little in the area of any mention of the dev team names or origin. is this all part of the anonymity?
A) Yes , it a part of anonymity but if people want to know about me or other Dev they can know, it's their right to know weather they are trusting good people or scammers. B3 is a project under limxtec. Chris and josh are the main developers
With the 80k block approaching in 40-45 day by my math, when can we expect more information on masternode rewards?
A) Yes, for now I think that a split of block rewards into 60% for masternodes and 40% to those staking is fair.
The roadmap also states that the plan is to use bigger exchanges as cryptopia is really the only viable means to buy/sell this coin. When can we expect to see some movement towards that?
A) We were thinking about bittrex but now they enforced new rules, which are against anonymity , so I think we will be more focused on B3 decentralized exchange.
How about binance as that is an virtually untapped market for this coin from what I have noticed?
A)Binance is good, but again no one knows if they will apply new rules like bittrex, but I will try to get it.
My final question is this: With the interest compounding in the pools and the even if the difficulty goes up, there is no doubt we will hit the max supply on coins soon. Have you found a suitable number to the max supply on the coins that will leave this coin viable for the future?
A) Yes, this is most important question, I think max supply should be strict to 3b as that would be more than enough to ensure this coin keeps a positive future.
-- Thank you so much for your time.
This was my interview with the Developer and first ever writing on crypto. I hope you enjoyed it. Here are a few more nuggets of info I would like to add. There are 3 seperate pools for staking B3: B3 Community Pool, Froggers Pool, and Coinexchange has a pool as well I believe. The first 2 contribute to the marketing of the coin which will be starting up soon while the 3rd I believe does not. Also join the Discord channel for all of the latest info, airdrops and more. Follow me on Twitter @CowboyCrypto and follow @B3coins as well for updates.
Thanks for this write up on B3. My brother brought me into this opportunity and we did have some sporadic rewards and have since decided to join Froggers pool. Very excited for what's in store for B3's plans! We're all in this together man!
