Hey guys, It was very interesting to get to know how to live in a yurt. I changed my host family to get to know other nomads on the country side. What can you find in a Yurt? My first yurt where I used to live had pretty simple facility . An Altar, 3 beds and one oven. Mongolians are living with 10 - 15 people in a yurt. Most of them are sleeping on the floor. The second yurt that I was able to visit was a bit different.

Water heater, even a microwave :D, a few cupboards with more than enough kitchen devices. I had also a water tap (green bowl) with wash basin. That is luxury. I could wash my hands at any time :) great! Be careful: I thought the water is just going into the earth but it is not the case ....

...In the cupboard there is a water bucket. This bucket is collecting dirty water. You have to through away old water, if not it will be overfilled. I did not know that and had a big water massacre :D
