There was once a bull, everything was going fine, we Damned our bosses and earned our salaries in a week. It was actually the dream life, getting rewarded for content, making money online without being fraudulent, meeting needs and giving back to the society, I mean what else could we ask for, some even found love on the blockchain. One thing was certain, I was still ignorant.

The bear came, to eat, kill and destroy, maybe that's what we think, nah......
The bear came to make us learn, It came to make me learn.

Yes my steemit earnings became low and the motivation to make posts dropped, I believe it's so for a large number of people. A lot of people started selling their accounts and stuff, I couldn't dare, no I still loved the steemit community.

So yeah, what have I been up to.

Airdrops

Yeah I learnt about Airdrops from @Enolife, sometime early 2018,my friends @ifioklee @annieben @ubongj @chidiaura created a whatsapp group where we accommodated more steemians and cryptocurrency enthusiasts.

Applying for Airdrops and filling forms made me learn more about the blockchain technology and cryptography, some Airdrops tokens made us good money but others became shitcoins.

Trading

Filling Airdrops didn't stop the bear from eating us up, the bear devoured dipper but I was too deep in the space to leave.
Every fall in the price of btc sent our Steem earnings six feets down, I remember lamenting a lot until @destinysaid @enolife @ifioklee talked about Tether, I read about it, converted my Steem earnings to btc and the to tether. It was too late though, I wish I knew earlier.

I started trading August last year and I lost almost $1000 in trading because I wasn't too equipped with the knowledge to trade with minimal losses.
I was pissed, angry, heartbroken early this year when my last $250 dropped to $150. I couldn't take it anymore, I ran to @destinysaid for help again and he refered me to someone who could help me out.
@empato365 and @mbj have also been instrumental in helping me grow here
I'm recovering my losses in bits as well as learning how the whole thing works

Bounties

I took a step further into participating in bounties this month and I was greatly encouraged by @chijamz @amec @folly-pandy.
Bounties has also helped me with learning because reading about cryptocurrency projects and the strategies they adopt expose you a a whole new level of learning.
This tech is actually difficult for me to understand but I'm doing my best to grasp it at my own pace and in my own way.

If you go through my blog, it's not entirely abandoned but activity here is relatively low and I've been pushing myself to put up something once in a while and trying to balance up everything.

I remember being happy about @infovore passing through my blog some days back, it brought a dose of hopium(motivation).

Yes the bear market came but the community stayed.
