The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was established as the Regional Development Bank on August 22, 1966.The main purpose of the bank is to make the economic development of Asia's countries faster, faster and easier.

The bank was formed in association with the members of the Economic and Social Commission of the United Nations (UNESCAP) and other developed countries of the Asian and Pacific regions of the United Nations.
