Start generating exclusive content for Netflix, is not a logical step for anyone who has been president of the United States. We know it sounds strange, but everything seems to indicate that the former US presidential couple, Barack and Michelle Obama, have great intentions of producing series for one of the most popular streaming services in the world.
With the revolution in the entertainment industry, it is easier to present innovative and interesting stories that are of interest to the audience. Netflix wants to produce a new series focused on Barack and Michelle Obama, but it would not be an ordinary presidential drama in the style of House of Cards, but the marriage would act as stellar partner and presenter.

Everything sounds very confusing and strange, but according to a source close to The New York Times, the series could be based on the following:
"The production could focus on inspiring stories that present moderate discussions on the salient issues that emerged while the Obama were in the White House."

This agreement between the couple and Netflix, would imply that the service pays Barack and his wife to have exclusive content, although according to the report, the number of episodes and formats for each show, have not yet been defined or confirmed.
In turn, the amount of money that Netflix could pay the Obama was not disclosed, but what could be a certainty is the fact that Barack could moderate some social issues or issues related to democracy, migration, or sanitary system. Similarly, Michelle could talk about topics that cover nutrition or health issues.
This could be a good opportunity for the couple with the objective of sharing their own stories. Note that the original series would not cover issues related to Donald Trump, current president of the United States.
