As a Canadian, I’m skeptical this will work, but I’m open minded. Ontario is an economic basket case right now.
We’ll see where it goes. I’ve told Manna before I’m opposed to tax dollars going into UBI.
Nothing wrong with open-minded skepicism. Apart from the main reasons I'm interested in UBI is that so many governments are using an experiment-evidence-iterate cycle of policy formation rather than just sweeping changes.
