The most agitated and known beach of the north coast of SP. It is an extensive beach, of soft white sand, with great waves and very agitated. Hometown of surfers like Gabriel Medina and Miguel Pupo, has already been the stage of world-wide stages of surf and is still of several championships of the sport. It houses one of the best electronic nightclubs in Brazil, the Sirena, and so it attracts a lot of young people who enjoy a little ballad (and if I may - a gym too). Maresias is one of the last beaches of the North Coast that has a good infrastructure to stay, with restaurants, shops and nightlife. For those who want to enjoy the beaches even further north, it is worth staying in Maresias and spending the day at the other beaches.

I live about 4 hours from the North Coast of Sp, so my visits to the beaches are not frequent. Me and my friends try to do a little trip at least once or twice a year.

We always have what to do there, such as visiting the beach lookout in the pipeline that is in the Maresias mountain range, towards São Sebastião, after Km 158.

And the neighboring beaches, I particularly can not help passing on the whale's beach, heavens I love this beach, I have a special affection for her.
And who likes to surf, spend the day taking waves in the sea. It is the best beach of the coast to practice the sport.

Sometimes it happens to rain, but it does not disturb the ride.
