Last Easter Sunday I went with my daughter to a small inlet called Puerto Abajo, on the Isla de Margarita located in the Caribbean Sea. It is the typical beach where you always have a good time: crystal clear waters, fine sand, some boat to take a short walk, few people and a sunny day that pushes you to be immersed in it. Apart from this, you have the bonus of enjoying a beautiful landscape, including that mountain that can be seen in the background, whose name is Cerro Guayamurí, which in the language of the ancestors called Guaiqueríes, means Refuge of the Gods. Legend has it that this volcanic figure (it is not) appeared after the death of an Indian, which the moon turned into a hill to be the protective guardian of this land and its inhabitants. I have the fortune to live in this paradise, and it is a pleasure to show you in this BeachWednesday.
