Went to the market at Lorong 7 Toa Payoh last Sunday to buy some breakfast back to the in-laws' place. I hadn't visited this place on Sunday for a long time. Next to the market is the food centre where I was looking for what to buy. I noticed at least one of the stall had changed and it seems the new stall is doing well.
上个星期天去了大巴窑7巷的市场，买早餐回太太娘家。我很久没有在系前天去那里。市场旁边是熟食中心，我在那里找要买什么。我注意到至少有一个摊位换人经营了。新摊位似乎生意不错。
This is one side of the food centre and you can see how crowded it is on Sunday mid-morning.

I wanted to try the fish fried rice from this stall. It's only $2 but the people were busy preparing the food for 2 customers in front and taking their own sweet time and nobody came and took my order. I gave up and went to the next stall to buy fish bee hoon instead and took a photo of the stall from there after queueing a while. Another guy also had the same luck as me and walked away.
我想试这个摊位的鱼炒饭。它只卖$2，但是里面的人正忙着为前面的2位顾客准备食物，并慢吞吞的不理我。罢了。去隔壁摊位买鱼汤米粉。在排队时，从那里拍了一张摊位的照片。另一个人也跟我一样运气。买不到东西，走人。

After I got my fish bee hoon soup, I sat down and took a picture of the stall. There was a queue there but it was still moving but I forgot to take picture of my food.
我拿到鱼汤米粉后，坐下来拍了一张摊子的照片。那里有人排队但至少有买的人不用等很久但我忘了拍摄我的食物。

After eating and buying the breakfast for the in-laws, my wife try her luck and ordered the fish fried rice and we took home this packet of rice and it's actually quite worth it for $2.
在为岳父母买了早餐后，太太碰碰运气去买那鱼炒饭而成功买了这饭回去。其实$2是挺值得的。

There is a coffeeshop near the market that has a stall I didn't know is there. I have to remember to try that next time.

I love food courts all around Asia they are pretty similar and the food are of many varieties and cheap they are my favorite food places in Thailand for quick cheap snacks :)
