Surprising concept of the yacht which will be able to soar over waves

May be that in the near future guests of the Spanish island of Ibiza will be able to see in coastal waters surprising object, the form the tetrahedron (a triangular pyramid) reminding geometrical figure. This vehicle so unusually looks that the agent Fox Mulder easily could take it for the alien spaceship which made an emergency landing in waters of the Mediterranean Sea. But actually, it is only a concept of the yacht of the London designer Johnathan Shvinge which sets before itself(himself) the purpose to create the vessel which can rise over waves.

The designer initially projected the yacht so that it could "levitate" over water thanks to a dipping vertical stand to which the casing of the vessel fastens. To the lower part of this stand something fastens, similar to a torpedo with wings. When the yacht gathers sufficient speed, the stand is advanced, and its casing rises over water. During the parking the stand is retracted inside and the yacht falls by a water smooth surface.

"Similar construction provides to the yacht directly two waterlines — Johnathan Shvinge on the officially the website explains. — At a low speed the tetrahedron falls by water, but at a high speed underwater wings raise it up. In such situation the yacht can gather speed to 70 kilometers per hour".
