Our skin is the largest organ and helps protect our body from disease, germs and infections. Your food choices has a direct impact on your skin. Here are things to change in your diet if you want to have a healthy skin;

  • Cut out sugar and pastries; eat more berries and lemons.

  • Half of your plate should consist of fresh or steamed vegetables.

  • Bid farewell to milk and cheese.

  • Eat more seeds and nuts.

  • Eat less meat but more fatty fish.

  • Start your day with lemon water and not coffee.

  • Use whole grains in place of refined grains.

  • Incorporate more legumes to your diet.
