Makeup VS Natural!! Which one makes a better Diva?

in #beauty8 years ago

Makeup versus the natural approach... This is age-old dilemma has defined either a woman's natural beauty or their talent and skill with makeup artistry.

Since the age of Ancient Greece and Ancient Egypt, makeup has been a staple on hierarchy, social class, workers, men, and women. In Ancient Egypt black Kohl eyeliner was used to shield and help deflect the glare of the sun from the desert floor. Queen Cleopatra was the first to have a makeup factory of sorts erected in honor of her beauty regime. In Medieval times women wore a lead based face powder to help whiten their face to give them the sought after pale look. All in all, makeup has been a staple in beauty for thousands of years.

Nowadays we wear makeup to accentuate our favorite features and to diminish the appearance of either unsightly or unliked features of our face and body. Makeup is worn by almost every women on this earth at some point in their life and some men wear it as well. What started this post was me thinking about how some people get cat called and others not. Is it because some people apply their makeup better than others or is the natural look actually the best thing to land you some compliments.

Honestly, it does not matter if you wear makeup or not. It is how you present yourself, your attitude, your walk, your posture, your tumbao if you will. That is what makes men and/or women take a second look or break their neck. Women of all ages, shapes, and sizes have a natural diva with-in them. I have seen women that most men might consider sub-par "break" men's necks because of the attitude and the confidence they had in either their walk their face or their aura.

I am not saying to boycott makeup companies but for you to simply find your own niche in life. Get to be confident with yourself whether it is with or without makeup or the "perfect" body. Embrace who you are and love yourself. So is it better to wear makeup or to be natural? The choice is your's to make! Everyone is beautiful and everyone can find their own way to their own Diva!
