Beer Blog - Josephsbrau Spring Prost

In my previous beer post I told you how much I enjoyed the Josephsbrau Hefeweizen so I decided to check out the Josephsbrau Spring Prost. It is a Maibock Style Lager. Referring to the info on the beer carrier, the beer is brewed with Hallertau and Tettanag Hops and conforms to Reinheitsgebot which is the German Beer Law.
I liked the name. The term “Prost” is like “Cheers” in German. I have to admit I wasn’t thrilled with the beer. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t my cup of tea. The beer was a pretty red amber with a full body and medium bitterness. Malty – yes, rich – yes, flavorful – yes. The carton states it is brewed in a style of the celebratory beer that is served at the May festivals. To me it has a little too much bite to drink more than one. If you like darker brews, you might really enjoy this one.

Beer is very important of our new generation boys and girls
Fantastic friend @altportal, as I said in a previous comment we like many your publications because you always publish a little bit of everything. This time you bring us this wonderful beer, I'm really glad to know that you like beers a lot and you're going to publish a lot about them, because personally I also love beers and I follow other people who like you publish majestic beers how are you bringing us today? This partucular looks very good, the bottle is very nice with that dark brown and the label also attracts a lot of attention. This beer resembles one of venezuela that is called black Tercio and the bottle is very similar to this, here in the country there are not many varieties of beers as there may be in other countries, but the ones that are there are very good and only bad is that they are somewhat expensive and with the situation of the current country that we Venezuelans live is difficult to buy. This beer is great friend, thanks for sharing it with us and I will look forward to your next beer post. How many degrees of alcohol does beer have?
