Beer Review - Berliner Berg California Wheat

Berliner Berg is a relatively new brewery based in the Neukölln area of Berlin. These guys have in a short period of time created some really brilliant beers which are available in a wide range of shops around the city already, which shows how popular and successful they have become.

Of the beers they produce, I really like this one called 'California Wheat'. When poured the body has a warm golden appearance which I thinks looks good enough to dive straight into! The taste contain a slight hint of citrus with a hoppy, slightly bitter and what I can only describe as a summer straw aftertaste.

Right now in Berlin it's very cold, I think this beer is perfectly suited to a nice hot summer's day, but this is also good to drink in winter :-)
