At first you don't give it too much thought because normally standard oak aging isn't as complex flavour as bourbon/whisky/wine oak barrel aging. But the complexity here is in the beer itself and it delivers in spades.
This is so true. I’m a BBA fanatic so usually just oak aging is underwhelming for my taste buds.
