Welcome back my dear friends, to the third edition of WEEDelight!

The last two episodes were supersweet and supercoloured, that's the reason why I choose to taste with you something a little more genuine for today: for the joy of those who prefer salty food, like me, this time we'll have a very happy hour together! We're gonna taste a weedelicious Cannabis flavored beer, matched with some crunchy Hemp Taralli Pugliesi!

HEMPY HOUR | THE CANNABIS CLUB BEER & HEMP FLOUR TARALLI

You've just finished to work and all you want to do is to have a little bit of chilling time and finally some deserved relax! That's just the right time to uncork our fresh The Cannabis Club Sud beer, matched with some extracrunchy hemp flour taralli with hemp seeds and tomatoes.

Both the packages are very basic.

The graphic on the beer's labels is very summer style , the shapes make me think about a surfboard intersected with a plectrum, which remind me of summer's lightheartedness. On the top of the bottle cap we find a beautiful green leaf, that reminds us the reason why we picked this bottle between a thousand beers on the same shelf.

The beer fits in a standard green 33cl bottle, dressed in two basic labels which describes its name and its content.
The Cannabis Club is a bavarian brewery. They specify that they use only organic ingredients to make their beers. This one in particular, with its 4.9° alc, is made with water, barley malt, hops, yeast, hemp sativa extract .

We've seen enough from the outside, now we just wanna hear that fzzzz and have a taste!

The beer has the classic pilsner scent: light, not too hoppy, a classic blonde one. You can't immediately feel the cannabis fragrance. Let's pour it into the glass, to free some more aromas and finally have a first sip.

The taste is sweet and you can feel a little bit of cannabis aftertaste. The flavor is not too persistent, just perfect fot a light hempy hour! I do prefer craft beers, cause you feel more intense tastes, from the body of the beer to the hopping, because generally the pasteurization process flattens the aromas a little bit, but it's still a good beer.

If you like something to nibble while drinking, for this Hempy Hour I choose something salty, raw and crunchy!

Taralli are a typical dish from Apulia: little baked wheat flour rings. In this case they are made by Assocanapa , with hemp flour and hemp seeds, tomato's flavoured. As you open the pack you suddently smell a delicious bakery scent, that scent that healty food has when it's only made with genuine ingredients: durum wheat semolina, soft wheat flour, hemp flour, extra virgin olive oil, white wine, yeast, water, salt, tomato powder .
The consistency is perfect : crunchy and still extra friables. The taste is delicate, raw.
Hemp seeds are pleasant to taste and to chew, besides from being super healty. They are one of the most nutrient foods on the planet: they contain all 8 essential amino acids,omega-3 ed omega-6, vitamins, fibers and minerals and they are composed by 24% proteins. They are also antioxidants and anti-inflammatories.

If you have never tasted Hemp seeds, there are tons of benefits by eating them! Plus, they are perfect to match with a good beer!
