Product Review - Bellami Hair Extensions

in #bellami7 years ago (edited)

I have been using Bellami Hair Extensions for a few years now and I wanted to post an updated review I did previously for three of the products I have - Pink & Purple Ombres and the Kylie Kouture.

I purchased the 160g 20" Ombre #60/Violet and also Cotton Candy Pink. Absolutely love them! By the way, found them on Instagram. The top color is their ash blonde shade which matched my hair perfectly, I actually thought I was going to need a different shade, but it was dead on. Then the extensions go into the ombre, ultimately ending at the bottom in full color. There is also a lavender option for a toned down purple hue. The length is just what I would like but they have options to go up to 24". Also the thickness level I chose was 160 and that goes up as well. I have pretty thin hair and definitely do not use all of the pieces (I only wear 4/5 of the 10 total). uygy6f.jpg
After browsing through the regular line of extensions, I decided to go with their original line (no celeb endorsements, or specialties like the ombres ) and settled for an asheblonde Bambina set. Asheblonde is the same color I used for the ombre extensions. The package came fast and I noticed right way that even the packaging seemed bad compared to my ombres. Before, I got a pink box and pretty packaging, this time there was a plain brown envelope that looked like it was coming open. Okay, no big deal... I open it up and immediately I can see it's not the right color. I called customer service, the girl was extremely on point the whole conversation trying to get me through this frustration. She said they get different batches of the shades and no two sets are ever the same color, her thought was that I received one of the darker asheblonde sets. I explained the difference in texture as well and she really didn't have an answer for it. She suggested I send them back and she would personally send a replacement in the lightest asheblonde shade she could find. I mentioned I would prefer to exchange them for one of the specialty lines (Kylie Kouture), even though it cost more, I was pretty much convinced they are better quality lines and she indirectly agreed. Fast forward to getting the legit extensions. gughujhu.jpg
I read a lot of reviews before I bought them ($200 - $260 ouch!). Overall, the reviews were extremely helpful. I saw a lot of them saying that they snag and knot easily, I have not had this problem. They are super easy to brush, no tangles. 100% Remy hair so you can use heating tools on it. I have been wearing clip in extensions for about seven years. I have used multiple websites or stores and these by far are the best quality I've dealt with.
