I must admit I never really know how an image/ or post will be received on here. Sometimes I post shots that I think will get a nice response and they totally flop. Other times I post an image I really like but figure it thinking it might not be to everyone's taste, and it gets a great response.
Basically what I'm trying to say is I know nothing about Steemit.
However while hanging out with @condra yesterday evening and checking through a few shots he commented that he really liked this one. So basically if this flops its all @condra's fault 😄
This is one of a really nice model named Ellen who I shot a while back during a fun group shoot. We'll actually be doing another shoot in the same location this weekend so will have some new shots to show then.

Thanks guys
Ahhh Ellen! I love these, especially that top shot!
She was such a nice girl too. I really should get back to her about shooting again.
Nice. I like the contrast between the look and the environment.
Thank you. Its nice to mix up different styles alright.
Are you talking about in the payout or the amount of engagement or feedback? Payouts are inherently a crapshoot, because there's still only a relatively small number of people with a significant vote (about 10,000 users with a vote of 10c or more, 2,000 with a vote of $1 or more). If your post doesn't get in front of the eyes of those specific people, then it misses a decent payout, and that could just be pure chance.
Payout more so. I know its a bit of pot luck sometimes. Naturally I try to increase my chances by posting regular consistent content, original work, and hopefully what some people would think of as high quality work. I don't mind the feedback side too much as this isnt really a photography site so I can't expect much there. Its simply not the forum for it which is totally understandable.
Stunning pics and I am so glad I am not the only one that can say 'Basically what I'm trying to say is I know nothing about Steemit' hahahaha
Haha yep I have no problem admitting that one 😄
These are beautiful - o goodness I also just post and hope for the best LOL
Aww thank you, much appreciated.
First one ... Number one ! Great picture ! I like it, the smooth light effect and a beautiful sky on background of a beautiful girl. Particular also the effect of dark leather clothes with perfect light on.
Thank you thats very kind.
Yeah, things here are a bit confusing sometimes. Especially with photography. Sometimes what I view as the best photo a photog has recently posted will be the lowest rewarded.
True, I try to remind myself its not just a photography site so I can't expect too much focus just on photography stuff.
I always suggest to my friends to include a bit of text because of that very reason. Even just a paragraph about the shoot, or the day, or how you set up the shot, or whatever, helps with people upvoting. When it's just the shot, it has to stand on it's own and really capture the audience. A bit of text grabs their attention and makes them spend a bit more time looking.
I totally get what you mean. I don’t know why certain things get liked either haha. Your work is great 👍 followed. I’m also a photog :)
Ahh thank you much appreciated. I had a look there you have some really nice stuff too. Followed back.
Nice portrait photography, really nice. Love the colors !! good work!
Thank you. The nice location certainly helped.
