Simple...I cheated.
I'm subscribed to your Youtube channel and your video came up in my feed while I was on youtube.
I guess I'm one of the "Bazillions"(as you say. :)) of Steemit users that enjoy your informative posts.
To get through the "grind" I suggest to new users to write about what they are interested in. (They're niche" as you explained.)
The chances are excellent others share those interests.
