Inspiration: Because He is the Lord of everything, God has sovereignty over everything; what was, what is, and what is yet to come.Sovereignty is dominion over everything and everyone. His will is above all things. From before the foundation of the world, God was sovereign and reigned absolute. Without this sovereignty, he could not execute all his will, and this he will do without any hindrance for all eternity. After all, if he acts, who will stop him?
Prayer: Lord God, how wonderful and how magnificent it is to have a sovereign God. There is no one who can resemble the Lord. The Lord is the only one who can announce the end from the beginning and from ancient times the things that have not yet come to pass. The Lord has called us to be His children, and He has fulfilled and carried out His sovereign purpose. Thank you, Lord, for you are the only sovereign and true God. Forever and ever, glory, honor, praise, and worship be given to Thee. In Jesus' name, amen.
