I'm not sure Biden should withdraw.

My anecdotal experiences tell me Biden should stay in. There are a lot of white, older, middle class people who would easily vote for Trump if he was just slightly more coherent, slightly less racist, and didn’t foment an insurrection. These people are voting for Biden because he’s a known, semi-conservative white dude. They aren’t going to vote for Harris. They aren’t going to vote for Buttigieg. That just isn’t going to happen. If Biden gets forced out they’ll either abstain or begrudgingly vote for Trump.

My depressed prognostication however is that the election is lost. Biden has really stepped in it. If he was really ill he should have canceled the debate. He walked right into the bullshit geyser knowing it was a bullshit geyser and looked incompetent.

I don’t know. I don’t think this will end well.
