A blessed day Steemians!

This is a short post on how I started my interest in biking.


I remember the day that my father taught me how to ride a bike when I was 3 years old and every afternoon after he finishes his job at school (he is a music teacher), we go biking around our village.


Years have passed and my father was diagnosed with a kidney failure. He had kidney stones and underwent an operation. After getting well from his operation he started to assemble his own bike since our first bike was too old already. He buys parts from different bike stores until he had achieved in creating one. Since then he started to make biking as his exercise. After few months, he assembled another bike for me so I can go with him. It’s always a fun and tiring day for me and my dad but I enjoyed biking with him and it became our bonding moment together.


I become so interested in biking because I was able to go to places without passing through the heavy traffic in our area and at the same time it serves as my exercise since I play basketball during weekends and holidays. I even ride my bike in going to our men’s fellowship at church. I bike from Sucat(our home) going to Makati(our Church) and sometimes from Sucat going to our meeting place. After our fellowship me and my friends bike together in going to BGC or other places where we can eat and bond together.
